An artistic expression

ABOUT ME
Artekeramiko is an exploration of form, texture and imperfection.
Working exclusively by hand, I create unique ceramic pieces inspired by nature, organic structures and the quiet beauty of everyday objects. Every piece is handbuilt. No molds, no wheel, no repetitions.
Moving between art, design and craftsmanship, my work focuses on creating timeless objects that bring warmth and character to everyday spaces.
My journey with clay began in a ceramic workshop, where I discovered a deep fascination for the material, the creative process and the endless possibilities of ceramics.

CREATING CERAMICS
After years of experimentation and self-directed learning, ceramics became a natural extension of my creative practice.
Working with clay allows me to bring together design, photography, craftsmanship and artistic expression, creating handmade ceramic pieces shaped by both material and process.
Artekeramiko is a space where these disciplines meet, from the creation of ceramic forms to their visual presentation and storytelling.

INSPIRED BY NATURE
The imperfect perfection of Nature.
Inspired by the beauty of nature, I am drawn to organic forms, where straight lines are rare and every shape feels unique.
Through the lens of design, photography and ceramics, I explore texture, light and imperfection, creating one-of-a-kind pieces that balance functionality with sculptural expression.
Creating
through senses
All crafts were once created by the hands of skilled artists and artisans. Yet with industrialization and mass production, many traditional workshops and crafts have gradually disappeared, often replaced by speed, convenience, and uniformity.
Today, more and more of us feel the need to slow down, appreciate handmade work, and reconnect with authenticity.
There is something meaningful in preserving small ateliers and traditional crafts, keeping alive a personal, human approach to making while supporting local communities.
I started this small ceramic project with great enthusiasm as a way to reconnect with old traditions, draw inspiration from nature, and create handmade pottery.
It is a journey towards a slower, more intentional rhythm of life—one that values time, creativity, and the joy of making.

HOW CERAMICS WORK
In our Blog section you will find a brief description of the ceramic process.
I describe the ceramic process and the procedures required to create a ceramic object, starting with the preparation of the clay and moving on to the many types of modeling, drying, coloring, glazing, etc.
From the initial clay preparation to the last firing required to produce the finished ceramic object, I have outlined all the fundamental steps.

MAKING POTTERY, INCREDIBLY CREATIVE & SATISFYING
There is immense joy in the entire process—imagining new forms, shaping clay with your hands, experimenting with glazes, and finally holding the finished piece.
Each step is a blend of creativity, craftsmanship, and quiet satisfaction.
THE PROJECT

I have always been drawn to visual expression through design, photography, architecture, sculpture and craftsmanship.
Artekeramiko allows me to bring these disciplines together, from creating ceramic forms to designing their visual identity, photography and presentation. It is a project where making and storytelling become one.

THE FISHES
Across many cultures, fish symbolize life, abundance, transformation and renewal.
The two fish in the logo represent abundance in both the material and spiritual worlds, reflecting the balance between creativity, growth and meaningful living.
